Ms. Evelyn Lowery, 75, of Lumberton, NC formerly of 2180 Lick Ford Creek Rd, Ruffin, NC, was born September 11, 1941 to the late Mr. Bracey & Mrs. Snodie Lowery and passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Mr. Perry Allen Lowery; a sister: Ms. Kathy Bullard and a brother: Mr. Bracey Terry Lowery.
The memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs: Henry Hunt and Kelly Hunt officiating.
Ms. Lowery is survived by two daughters: Ms. Barbara Lowery and Ms. Jo Ann Lowery of Lumberton; six brothers: Mr. Neal Lowery, Mr. Earl Lowery, Mr. Billy Ray Lowery all of Red Springs, Mr. Gerald Lowery, Mr. Britt Carl Lowery and Mr. Bobby Dean Lowery all of Rowland; eight sisters: Mrs. Thelma Deeringwater, Ms. Rachel Locklear, Ms. Molly Hunt of Red Springs, Ms. Polly Bullard, Ms. Betty Ann Carter, Ms. Rita Fay Lowery all of Rowland, Ms. Sandra Hunt and Ms. Lillian Carter of Lumberton; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, a special “adoptive” grandson and a host of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: The Duke Nephrology Kidney Disease Program, in their loved ones name.
