Mr. Samuel “Brunner” Dial, 69, of 2547 Bridgers Road, Rowland, was born April 30, 1948 and died Saturday, June 24, 2017, at UNC Hospitals-Chapel Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Bernes & Mrs. Martha Locklear Dial.
The funeral will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Elrod Baptist Church with the Revs: Gary Chavis, Horace Oxendine and Ricky Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Dial is survived by his wife: Mrs. Pearlie Dial of the home; a son: Mr. John Samuel Dial; a daughter: Ms. Cynthia Sueann Dial; three brothers: Mr. Andrew Dial, Mr. Bobby Dial and Mr. Ronnie Dial; four sisters: Ms. Lucia Dial, Ms. Macy Keyworth, Ms. Shelby Indyk, and Ms. Sadie Foust; two grandchildren: Samuel Peyton Dial and Paisley Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
