Mr. Oseola Revels, 85, of 211 McQueen Road, was born May 28, 1931 and departed this life on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Eddie Lee Revels and Mrs. DeBur Locklear Revels; his wife: Mrs. Sarah Jane Revels.
The funeral will be 3:00 Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Shannon Assembly of God with Revs: Martin Jacobs, Anthony Chavis and Rick Dial officiating. Burial will follow in the Locklear Family Cemetery.
Mr. Revels is survived by two sons: Mr. Arnold Revels (Marsha) of Calabash and Mr. Ray Scott Revels (Donna) of Shannon; two daughters: Mrs. Marleena Jones (Joe) of Lumberton and Mrs. Kathy Oxendine (Merlin) of Shannon; one brother: Mr. Bobby Revels; one sister: Ms. Willie Ree Chavis; 12 grandchildren: Blake, Jordan, Lorna, Lyndsay, “Little Scott”, Cassondra, Abby, Lexie, Jaylon, Joleena, Saleen and Ethan; four great-grandchildren; Kaydance, Triston, Christian, Brayson and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
