Mr. Larry Eugene Dial, 75, of 763 Stanton Road, Maxton, NC was born June 4, 1949 to the late Mr. Harvey & Mrs. Susanna Oxendine Dial. He departed this life to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 20, 2025. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Wilma Jane Dial; a grandchild: Master Craig Devon Dial Jr. and his siblings: Mr. Charles Dial and Ms. Vivian Dial.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Johnson, Darrell Callahan and Kelvin Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Dial leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Mr. Anthony “Boo” Dial and Mr. Craig Dial (Maria); grandchildren: Mrs. Miriam Carter (Chris) and Master Colson Dial; great-grandchildren: Master Cambren Carter and Master Clarksen Carter who knew him as “papa coota”; his siblings: Mr. Delton Dial, Mrs. Lillie Locklear (RL), Ms. Phyllis Chavis, Mrs. Glenda Deese (Harold), Mr. Doug Dial (Ruby), and a special sister in law: Mrs. Ruth Dial; many nieces and nephews who called him “Uncle Larry”, and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
