MR. KIM ALAN “Crab” BRYANT

     Mr. Kim Alan “Crab” Bryant, 57, of 216 Elsie’s Lane, Pembroke, was born on January 28, 1963 and began his next journey on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Mr. Russell W. Locklear Sr. and Mrs.Elsie Mae Carter Locklear; and his paternal grandparents: Mr. Jimmie Bryant and Mrs.Viola Revels Bryant.  

     The funeral will be 5:30 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church Park with Revs: James Kelvin Locklear and Adrian Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery.

     Mr. Kim Alan is survived by his parents: Mr. Alfred Bryant Sr. and  Mrs. Mary Jane Bryant of Pembroke; his son: Mr. John Kimlan Nikko Bryant of Laurinburg; his daughter: Ms. Hannah Maria Bryant of Laurinburg; three brothers:  Mr. Alfred Bryant Jr. (Tabitha), Mr. Travis Bryant (Teresa) of Pembroke, and Mr. Marcus Bryant (Katina) of Prospect; five special nephews: Alaric Avery Bryant (AA), Aidan Cole Bryant, Cameron Travis Bryant, Brayden Wayne Bryant and Jackson Colt Bryant and a special niece: Baileigh MacKenna Bryant; Mr. Kim cherished his relationship with his stepdaughter: Ms. Shannon Rekel Brayboy of Pembroke and three step-grandchildren: Jayden Locklear, Kenadie Locklear and Isabella Locklear; a special friend Ms. Lanny Lowry, who spent many hours with him on his front porch and a host of relatives and friends.

     Mr. Kim Alan was the owner/operator of Bryant’s Heating and Air for many years.  He made himself readily available when called upon to provide services and help anyone at any time.  He was an avid outdoor spirit, who loved to hunt, fish, ride his Harley and tend to his lifelong sidekick Moonwalker, his horse. 

     The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.

    My heartfelt condolences to all of the family at the loss of Kim. He was a wonderful friend to all of my family for many years and we will always have a special place in our hearts for him. For all the family, I sincerely pray for comfort, peace and healing from God for each of you. Rest in peace Kim and know we will all miss you.
