Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Mr. Bryan Keith Oxendine, 50, of Pembroke, NC made his final transition from this life on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Atrium Hospice – Union County. Mr. Bryan was born in Rockingham, NC on October 21, 1969. Mr. Bryan is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Grady Cole and Mrs. Juanita “Sylvia” Oxendine; grandparents: Mr. John Archie and Mrs. Roberta Locklear and a Nephew: Tony Cole Oxendine.

The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Oxendine Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Strickland and Bro. Kenneth Oxendine officiating.

Mr. Bryan is survived by a son: Mr. Dustin Oxendine; siblings: Mr. Timothy Oxendine (Teresa), Mr. Gradlyn Oxendine (Angela), Mrs. Tammy Oxendine (Tony) and Mr. Michal Oxendine (Wanda) all of Pembroke; his extended family: Ms. Denine Revels and Mr. Kevin Jones and a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Bryan was a person who never met a stranger.  He was blessed with the gift of conversation and oh boy how he had mastered that skill, “talker”!!  Mr. Bryan was blessed with the ability to “repair” things from a very young age. He would tear things down as a child, just so he could figure out how to put them back together.  This passion led to his love to work on lawnmowers, small engine repair and other “Mr. Fix It” projects.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday October 21, 2020 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
