Ms. Darlene Locklear, 68, of 35A Forefathers Drive, Pembroke, NC was born November 5, 1953 and went home to be her heavenly Father on Thursday, July 14, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Grady and Mrs. Annie Ruth Sampson Locklear; her brother: Mr. Gregory and a sister: Ms. Regina Locklear Clark(Roger).
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Oxendine and Brother Paul G. Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her two daughters: Ms. Jeannine Locklear (Kent) of Rowland, NC and Ms. Kelly Ann Locklear of Pembroke, NC; one sister: Mrs. Shelia Ann Locklear (Dwylan) of Rowland, NC; three grandchildren: Kelicie McMillian, Kasadie Pevia (Austin) and Lumbeeana Jones; two great-grandsons: Greyson and Gannon Pevia and onw baby girl Pevia on the way all of Rowland, NC; two special cousins/sisters: Ms. Phyllis Brayboy and Ms. Deborah Snarski both of Rowland, NC; four nieces and four nephews and host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Beulah Baptist Church.
