Ms. Paulette Deese, 75, of Maxton, NC was born on April 9, 1949 in Robeson County, NC. She entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. She is preceded in death by her father: Mr. Hurbert Deese; mother: Ms. Susanna J. Jones; her sister: Ms. Junellen J. Strickland and sister-in-law: Mrs. Anita Jones.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2024 at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Earl Deese, Shelley Dial, Israel Branch and Floyd Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She leaves behind her son: Heath Deese (Pamela Odom); granddaughters: Jaelyn and Charli Deese; brothers: Mr. Neal R. Jones, Mr. Randy Jones (Teresa), Mr. Johnny Brent Jones, Mr. Earl Deese (Gladys), Mr. Laverne Deese (Brenda), Mr. Don Deese (Marlene) and Mr. Ted Deese (Laura); sisters: Ms. Pam Lowery (Marcus), Ms. Cheryl Dial (Shelley), and Ms. Shelia Bullard (Harvey).
Ms. Paulette worked 40 years with Dr. Kenneth Locklear and Dr. Herman Chavis at Robeson Family Practice until her illness required her to retire. She loved her job and her coworkers. She loved her special friends: Ms. Connie Chavis and Ms. Carrie Berry; her caregivers: Rev. Shelley and Mrs. Cheryl Dial; and her special buddy: Mr. River Dial.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2024 at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
