Ms. Louise Hunt Jones, 79, of Deep Branch Road, Pembroke, NC was born on December 3rd, 1942 to Mr. Joseph Edward and Ms. Anna Owens Hunt of Rayhnam. She went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 20th, 2021 at the home of Mr. Ricky and Mrs. Sonya Lowry. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Joseph Edward and Ms. Anna Owens Hunt; her daughter: Ms. Sherry Anita Jones Thomas and her grandson: Austin Chadwick Hunt.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Pembroke Gospel Chapel with Rev. Dr. Sam Wynn and Hayward Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters: Ms. Tammy Louise Jones, Ms. Fredia Jones Jacobs, and Mrs. Sonya Jones Lowry (Ricky) all of Pembroke, NC; her grandchildren: Kendrick Locklear (Nicole), Jamie Hunt (Amber), Kayla Robeson, Jimmie (Jim Bob) Hunt, Skylar Thomas (Johnny Ray), Deidre Jones, Chelsey Jacobs, Alexis Lowry, Joshua Lowry, and Sarah Anna Louise Lowry; her great grandchildren: Jasmine, Halie, Zaylee, Mavis, Jacilyona, Skarlett, Juliett, Jaliana and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Pembroke Gospel Chapel.
