Ms. Linda Rose Jones, 72, of 754 Roberts Ave, departed this life on Monday, July 12, 2021 at UNC Southeastern Health. She was born in Robeson County on October 28, 1948 and was preceded in death by her mother: Mrs. Nancy Jones; her father: Mr. Bell Jones and her siblings: Mr. Willie F. Jones and Mr. Roscoe Jones.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Rev. Adrian Hammonds. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Jones is survived by her special nephews: Mr. Bruce B. Jones and Mr. James R. Jones of Pembroke, NC and a special Niece: Dr. Cheryl J. Davis (Thad) of Lumberton, NC; two brothers: Mr. Donald G. Jones (Deanna) and Mr. Paul Jones (Vivian) of Pembroke; a sister: Mrs. Eunice E. Locklear (Earlie B.) of Red Springs, several other nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
