Ms. Carol Jean Locklear, 60, of 2957 Red Hill Road was born July 2, 1965 and departed this life on Monday, October 27, 2025 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by: her father and mother: Mr. Jacob & Mrs. Fannie Sue Locklear; brother: Mr. Jacky Locklear and a sister: Ms. Teresa Fay Locklear.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Sycamore Hill Freewill Holiness Church with the Rev. Floyd Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Sycamore Hill Church Cemetery.
Ms. Locklear is survived by her son: Mr. Corey Locklear of Maxton; a daughter: Ms. Katlyn Locklear of Stockdale, TX; four grandchildren: Kassidy Milligan, Hailey Chavis, Easlen Chavis and Dallas Rose Chavis; sister: Mrs. Cassie Locklear of Maxton; brother: Mr. Joe Pat Locklear of Laurinburg and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Sycamore Hill Freewill Holiness Church.
