MRS. SANDRA PINCHBECK SHRADER BOND

MRS. SANDRA PINCHBECK SHRADER BOND

Mrs. Sandra Pinchbeck Shrader Bond, 77, of Titusville, Florida, departed this life, for her heavenly home, Saturday February 12, 2022, after an eight-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mrs. Sandra was born October 18, 1944, in Pembroke, North Carolina.  She was a member of both the Lumbee and Cree tribes.  Sandra grew up on Pembroke State University, where her father Mr. Walter Pinchbeck was the Superintendent of Buildings.  She later moved to Florida.  Sandra, though retired, loved her career as an Administrative Assistant at Kennedy Space Center.  She loved light houses, trips to Disney, being with people, and had such a heart for children.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Walter Pinchbeck Sr. and Mrs. Bertha L. Pinchbeck, her sister: Ms. Mary Alice Teets; her brothers: Mr. William Henry Pinchbeck and Mr. Francis Pinchbeck, and her son: Mr. Mark. Anthony Shrader.

Mrs. Sandra was survived by her husband: Mr. William R. Bond; her son: Mr. Lee Montague Shrader III; her daughters: Rev. Michelle Marie Shrader and Ms. Margaux Lynn Shrader; her stepchildren: Ms. Barbara Bond-Miles and Mr. Brad Bond; her grandchildren: River Bond, Sierra Bond, Breann Steigerwalt, Gabby Steigerwalt, and Robert Miles; her brother: Mr. Walter James Pinchbeck Jr.; her sister: Ms. Helena Marjorie Pinchbeck Williams, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The viewing will be Saturday, February 19, 2022, 11:00 am at Berea Baptist Church, with the funeral to follow at 12:00.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the UNC Pembroke Mary Alice Teats Music Fellowship.

You can make a donation online by visiting: www.uncp.edu/give. In the designation field, select “Other” and enter “Teets Music Scholarship” (you can abbreviate, I’ll let our team know it’s coming). As you stroll down, you will see a checkbox for “This gift is in honor, memory, or support of someone.” If you check that, you can mark that gift in memory of Sandra Pinchbeck Shrader Bond.
