Mrs. Novella Groves Jones, 101, of 2877 Huggins Road, Lumberton, was born December 14, 1917 and died Monday, July 15, 2019, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Belton Jones and a son: Mr. Belton Franklin Jones.
The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Union Chapel Holiness Methodist Church with the Revs: Willie Scott, Dufrene Cummings and Kelvin Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery.
Surviving are her son: Mr. Joseph Jones(Suzette) of Pembroke; ten grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
