Mrs. Legina Allen, 49, of Pembroke was born January 12, 1974 and with great sadness her family announces her passing on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was an inspiring daughter, mother and grandmother. She was also a devoted care taker of her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mrs. Virginia Blackwood and Mr. Mitchell Oxendine.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Rev. Kelvin Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxendine Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Legina leaves to cherish her memory, her stepfather: Mr. Roger Blackwood; son: Mr. Travis O’Ryan Allen (Loy); grandson: Dyson; sibling: Mr. Jeremy Oxendine; father of her son: Mr. Ryan Allen; many other special cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
