Mrs. Janie Locklear Davis, 96, of 4642 Cabinet Shop Road, was born on December 1, 1923 and went home to be with Our Lord Jesus on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Barfield Rogers; her husbands: Mr. Bradie Locklear, Sr. and Mr. Guy Davis; her son: Mr. Badie Locklear, Jr. and granddaughter: Ms. Jeannie May Locklear.
The viewing will be from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home and grave side service at 3:00 at Beulah Baptist church cemetery.
Mrs. Janie Locklear Davis is survived by son: Mr. Harold Locklear of Rowland; sisters: Ms. Myrtis L. Spencer of Fayetteville, Mrs. Brenda Locklear Potts of Myrtle Beach SC, Ms. Linda L. Patterson of Atlanta GA and Ms. Gail Locklear of Atlanta GA; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
