MRS. FANNIE SUE LOCKLEAR

     Mrs. Fannie Sue Locklear, 91, of 2957 Red Hill Road, Maxton, was born May 22, 1928 to the late Mr. John Chavis and Mrs. Arpie B. Chavis. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Jacob Locklear; daughter: Ms. Teresa Faye Locklear; son: Mr. Jacky Locklear, three brothers: Rev. Johnnie Chavis, Mr. Ernest Chavis and Mr. Levi Chavis; three sisters: Ms. Annie J. Pierce, Ms. Christine Locklear and Ms. Lizzie Lowery.

     The graveside service will be Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Sycamore Hill Holiness Church Cemetery with Revs: Ike Cummings and Floyd Hunt officiating.
     She is survived by a son: Mr. Joe Pat Locklear (Cheryl) of Laurinburg, two daughters: Ms. Cassie Locklear (Robert) and Ms. Carol Jean Locklear of Maxton, one sister: Evenlyn Burnette of Maxton; nine grandchildren: Jammie, Olivia, Lauren, Jonathan, Matthew, Corey, Katlyn, Chelsea, and Jessica; fourteen great grandchildren: Brandon, Justin, Peyton, Bryson, Cassidy, Connor, Maddison, Jacob, Hailey, Ariah, Vayla, Van, Easton, and Dallas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
