Mrs. Dorothy Dean Jones Locklear, 86, of 352 Sherrill Road, Pembroke, NC was born February 26, 1933 and departed this life on August 21, 2019.
The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Prospect United Methodist Church with Revs. Dr. Sam Wynn, Bill James and Dell Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Preston Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter: Mrs. Janie Oxendine; five grandchildren: Mr. Steven Jones, Mr. Viron Oxendine, Mr. William Chad Oxendine, Mrs. Jenna Oxendine and Mrs. Charlotte Lowery; four great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday August 24, 2019 at Locklear and Son Funeral Home.
