Mrs. Brenda Joyce Harris of Pembroke NC, was born December 30, 1951 in Robeson County to the late Ms. Pearlie Locklear. She was born into eternity on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Southeastern Regional. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Mr. Joseph Jacobs Jr.; one brother: Mr. Venus Ray Locklear; one sister: Ms. Curlin Locklear.
The funeral will be Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral home Chapel with Rev. Hedrick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxendine Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris leaves to cherish her memory three children: Mr. Jeremy Jacobs (Daphene) of Raeford, NC, Ms. Brenda Carol Jacobs of Pembroke, NC and Mrs. Molly Ann McKnight (Calvin); seven grandchildren: Eric, Chuck Jr., Candice Marie, Amber, Austin, Brittany, Romeo; one great grandchild: Axley; two sisters: Mrs. Mary Lee Blakely (Gary) of High Point, NC and Ms. Norlene Locklear of Lumberton, NC; one brother: Mr. Lee Dee Locklear of Pembroke, NC and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends will 1-2 Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Locklear 7 Son Funeral Home Chapel.
