Mr. William Gary Locklear, 65, of 23460 Sneads Grove Rd. Laurel Hill (Formerly of Robeson County) was born on August 10, 1954 and departed this life on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. William H. “Bill” and Mrs. Adell Locklear; his wife: Mrs. Lucy Ann Locklear and brother: Mr. Johnnie Locklear.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Michael Cummings, Keith Long and Jerry Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Duckery Brooks Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter: Ms. Tina Ellen Locklear of Maxton; two sons: Mr. William Floyd Locklear of Maxton and Mr. Gary Michael Locklear of the home; his significant other: Ms. Yvette Hagen of the home; four grandchildren: Haley Locklear (Cameron) of Pembroke, Hannah Locklear, Harabella Locklear, and Ollen Locklear of Maxton; five sisters: Mrs. Adelene Locklear (Herman), Mrs. Patrick Brooks (JD), Ms. Rita Bell, Mrs. Joanne McMillan (Jeff) and Mrs. Jodella Locklear (Joey) and host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
