Mr. Tryon Locklear, 51, of 136 Jefferson Road Maxton was born on May 10, 1968 and departed this life on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Shirley Locklear; his father: Mr. Willie O. Locklear; two brothers: Mr. Willis Locklear and Mr. Lavana Locklear; two nephews: Mr. Ron Michael Locklear and Mr. Kenston Locklear; and a sister-in-law: Mrs. Linda Oxendine.
The funeral will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Revs: Phillip Locklear, Edward Brooks and Jimmy Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Lighthouse Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Tryon is survived by his mother: Mrs. Doris J. Locklear; two brothers: Mr. Ron Locklear (Martha) and Mr. Wallace Locklear (Marsha); three special nieces: Ms. Myla Locklear, Ms. Liza Locklear and Ms. Mesha Oxendine; three nephews: Mr. Jordon Locklear, Mr. Cody Locklear and Mr. Chantz Avila; two great nephews: Mr. Kenan Locklear and Kaiden Locklear; two great nieces: Ms. Frankie Brewer and Ms. Kristen Locklear; two special aunts: Ms. Ruby Brooks and Ms. Mary Locklear; three grandchildren: Hunter, Marty and Steven Locklear; a special friend: Ms. Shana Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
