Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Ocquin Worriax, 67, was born July 7, 1954 and left his earthly home on Sunday, July 18, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Tracy O. Worriax and Mrs. Virginia L. Worriax; brother: Mr. Russell E. Worriax and his son: Mr. Travis O. Worriax.
The funeral service will be 3:30 Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Elrod Baptist Church with Revs. Dale Harris and Gary Chavis officiating.
Mr. Worriax leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Mrs. Shirley A. Worriax of 26 years; children: Ms. Mary Rose Worriax, Ms. Loreal Worriax and Mr. Walter A. Worriax; siblings: Mr. Tracy Worriax, Jr., Ms. Arianna Worriax and Ms. Tammy Worriax; along with a host of relatives and friends.
To know him is to love him. He was blessed with an extra ordinary musical and vocal talent that God used to touch so many lives. Brother Larry loved serving the Lord and blessing others. While able in body he frequently visited rest homes and area churches to minister in testimony, music and song with his wife by his side.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Elrod Baptist Church.
