Mr. Kenneth Demery

Mr. Kenneth Demery, 66, of 886 Lonnie Farm Road, was born December 8, 1951 and departed this life on December 31, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Bricey Demery and Mrs. Daisy Hatcher Demery; and one brother: Mr. Hector Ray Hatcher. The funeral will be 2:30 Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Demery is survived by his wife: Mrs. Joann L. Demery; daughter: Mrs. Shelly C. Chavis (Kevin); three grandchildren: Andrew Brice Chavis, Anora Beth Chavis and Aiyana Brooke Chavis and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Locklear & Son funeral home.
