Mr. Johnie Preston Bullard, Jr., 77, of 2460 Hezekiah Road Maxton, born on August 7, 1939 to the late Reverend Johnie Preston and Mrs. Cattie Bell Jacobs Bullard, departed this life on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Mr. Larry Dean Bullard, Mr. Mickey Bullard and Mr. Carl Bullard, all of the Prospect Community, Maxton, NC and an infant sister: Ms. Rose Bullard.
The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Prospect United Methodist Church with the Revs: Bill James Locklear, Dr. Carolyn Cummings-Woriax and Dr. Samuel Wynn officiating. Burial will follow in the Bullard Family Cemetery.
Mr. Johnie Bullard leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Mrs. Lois Woriax Bullard; one brother: Mr. Vickie Bullard (Brenda) and a host of relatives and friends. A special thank you to his caregivers: Ms. Genevieve Jones, Ms. Shwanda Woods and Ms. Judy Chavis.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Prospect United Methodist Church.
