Mr. Harry Woodard Crews, 92, of 349 Macie Road, Pembroke, NC was born February 26, 1931 to the late Mr. Jasper and Mrs. Minnie Crews. He departed this earthly home for his eternal heavenly home on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at his home. Mr. Crews proudly served his country in the Army, fighting in the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years: Mrs. Martha Crews and one son: Mr. Jimmie Lowery.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Harpers Ferry with Revs. Lawrence Garner and Donald Bullard officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowery Family Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter: Mrs. Brenda Ganus (David) and a grandson: Harry Bullard, one sister: Ms. Billie Hare and brother: Needham (Olivia) of Florida and three great granddaughters; one great grandson and two bonus grandchildren: David Jerrell Ganus and Kaylan Ganus.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Harpers Ferry.
