Mr. Donavan “Duke” Jordan Locklear, 31, of 35 Recreation Center Road Hwy 74 West, Maxton, was born April 26, 1990 and passed into his eternal life on Sunday, June 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Darius D. Jones and Ms. Connie Locklear.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Revs: Dufrene Cummings and Floyd Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Locklear Family Cemetery.
Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memories his grandfather: Mr. Wade Locklear; Ms. Nicole Locklear; one daughter: SaNiyiah Lee’Cole Locklear of the home; stepsons: Jeremiah, Hezekiah, Nehemiah and Jeesiah Oxendine of the home; one brother: Mr. Darius D. Jones, Jr., a special aunt: Mrs. Reenice Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
