Mr. Devan Jones, 68, of 75 Sterling Drive, Rowland was born January 14, 1953 to the late Mr. Sterling and Mrs. Nettie Jones. He departed this life on Saturday, July 17. 2021.
The funeral services will be 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev: Gary Chavis officiating. Burial will follow at Sterling & Nettie Jones Cemetery.
Mr. Devan “Van” is survived by his wife of 50 years: Mrs. Shirley Jones; children: Mr. David Hunt (Melissa). Mr. Antonio Jones and Ms. Katina Jones; grandchildren: Marissa Hunt, Michael Hunt, Marlena Hunt, Christianna Jones, Trae Jones, Austin Jones and Makayla Jones; two brothers: Mr. Donald Ray Jones (Beneva) and Mr. Jeff Jones (Robin); five sisters: Ms. Helen Clark, Ms. Sanna Faye Jones, Ms. Sandra “Baye” Locklear, Mrs. Wilma Dial (Buddy) and Mrs. Bobbie Leviner (Dearl); six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
