Mr. Joe Dial, 62, of 508 Red Banks Road, was born December 4, 1958 at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC and departed this life on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Lacy and Mrs. Nancy Jane Dial; a daughter: Ms. Jodie Lynn Dial and two brothers: Mr. Curley Dial and Mr. Carlie Dial.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lindbergh Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the Bakers Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Dial is survived by two brothers: Mr. Fred Locklear (Frances) of Sanford and Mr. Carnell Locklear (the late Peggy Locklear) of Pembroke; two sisters: Mrs. Alice Brooks (James) and Naomi R Dial of Maxton; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Billie Mae Dial and Mrs. Florella Dial of Maxton along with nephews, nieces and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday May 8, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
