Mr. James Robert Locklear, 73 of Maxton, NC was born March 13, 1949 to Mr. Tommy and Mrs. Essie Mae Locklear and departed this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Mr. Junior Locklear; and sister: Ms. Roxanne Jacobs.
The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Sycamore Hill Holiness Church with Revs. Floyd Hunt and Hedrick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Cassie Locklear; a son: Mr. Jammie Locklear (Sam); daughter: Mrs. Olivia Brayboy (Clonnie Jr.); four grandchildren: Brandon Locklear, Justin Locklear, Peyton Brayboy and Bryson Brayboy and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Sycamore Hill Holiness Church.
