On Friday, November 5, 2021 Ms. Cathy peacefully left this world and went on to glory. She was born on September 20, 1964 as Cathy Jean Mitchell to the late Mr. Gordon Mitchell and Mrs. Dora Hammonds. She married the love of her life, Mr. Malcolm Pierce on November 15, 1983. They have two beautiful daughters. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and was very committed to them.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Pierce leaves behind many memories with her loving husband: Mr. Malcolm Tony Pierce; her children: Ms. Lakecia Pierce and Ms. Candice Pierce; her grandchildren: Brianna Pierce, Cameron Patahalla and Jamar Hurley; her siblings: Mr. Gregory Mitchell, Mr. Kenneth Mitchell, Mr. James Mitchell, Mr. Doreen Mitchell, Ms. Annette Jones and Ms. Melissa Mitchell; nieces; nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
