Mrs. Rowena O. Godaire

Mrs. Rowena Godaire, 64, of 150 Herndon Circle, was born April 22, 1954 and departed this life on January 17, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Britton and Mrs. Beulah Locklear Oxendine. The funeral services will be Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Revs: Mike Cummings and Steve Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxendine Family Cemetery. Mrs. Godaire is survived by her husband: Mr. Paul Richard Godaire Jr.; three sons: Mr. Shane Richard Godaire(Rhonda), Mr. Jason Paul Godaire and Mr. Brandon Michael Godaire; one daughter: Ms. Shannon Dawn Godaire; three grandchildren: William Michael Rushing Jr., Britton Paul Rusing and Braxton Kayne Godaire; two brothers: Mr. David Earl Oxendine(Ilse) and Mr. Jerry Oxendine; one sister: Ms. Mary Sally Oxendine and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 -8 p.m. Tuesday January 22, 2019, at Locklear and Son Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Health Center of Moore County.
