Mr. Leonard Bullard, 80, of 4423 Evergreen Church Road, Pembroke was born April 2, 1936 in Robeson County. Mr. Bullard passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Stafford and Mrs. Jenner Bullard and loving wife: Mrs. Gokanile Bullard.
The funeral will be Saturday, February 4, 2017, Union Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Strickland and Bro: Jason Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Bullard Family Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons: Mr. Johnnie Bullard, Mr. Leonard Bullard, Jr. and Mr. Nathan Bullard all of Pembroke; three daughters: Ms. Lenora Bullard of the home, Ms. Genner Bullard of Pembroke and Mrs. Jan Oxendine of Charlotte; one brother: Mr. Earnest Bullard of Pembroke; ten grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a very special niece: Ms. Fay Oxendine of Pembroke and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 3, 2017, from 7-9 p.m. at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
