Ms. Sarah Lowry Jacobs, 81 of 321 Olie Drive was born May 9, 1941 and departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr.  Joseph Archie Lowry and Mrs. Katy Lee Sampson Lowry; her daughter: Ms. Lorie Ann Jacobs; a sister: Ms. Mary L. Lowry; four brothers: Mr. David Lowry, Mr. Donald Lowry, Mr. Kenneth Lowry, and Mr. Julius Lowry.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Pembroke Gospel Chapel with Rev. Lindbergh Chavis and Timmy Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter: Mrs. Nettie Amendola (Dan) of Fayetteville, NC; a son: Mr. Windell Jacobs (Karen) of Pembroke, NC; nine grandchildren: Joshua Jacobs, John Carter, Taylor Hammonds, Alyssa Gainer, Harley Jacobs, Joseph Amendola, Peyton Jacobs, Antoinette Amendola, Jada Jacobs; 11 great grandchildren; four sisters: Ms. Katherine Walker of Hixson, TN, Ms. Susan Lowry of Charlotte, NC, Ms. Brenda Carter of Chattanooga, TN, Ms. Carol Peace of Gainesville, FL; two brothers: Mr. Archie Lowery and Mr. Jonathan Lowry, both of Pembroke, NC and a host of relatives and friends.

She had a passion and love for art and treasured her years of time spent crafting with her sisters. It was a hobby they all shared and nurtured along with loving each other. She was an avid seamstress, homemaker and gardener, but her best attribute was being a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was loved by many and will be missed greatly.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Pembroke Gospel Chapel.
