Ms. Peggy Lowery, 81, of Rowland, was born December 11, 1938 and passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Charlie Lowey; two daughters: Mrs. Martha A. Oxendine and Mrs. Joyce A Lowery; and three brothers.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020 at McDonald Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Revs: Marvin Hunt, Bruce Ransom and Richard Barnes officiating.
Ms. Lowery leaves behind a daughter: Mrs. Amy Owens (Gary) of the home; grandchildren: Garbrena and Gary “Papa” of the home, Charla Pevie, Pamela Lucas, Phillip Oxendine, and Cheyenne Locklear; great-grandchildren: Grant Douglas, Naomi Pittman, Alana Ransom, Makayla Lucas, Michael Lucas, Savannah Oxendine, and Montana Oxendine; one brother: Mr. Belton Locklear; one sister: Ms. Addie Oxendine; a special aunt: Ms. Gladys Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.
