MS. PATSY ANN HUNT

Ms. Patsy Ann Hunt, 73, of Pembroke, NC was born April 21, 1947 to the late Mr. Patrick “Sam” Jacobs and Mrs. Frances Adelaide Jacobs. She went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 15, 2021 at her home. Ms. Patsy was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church for over 40 years where she served in many capacities. Ms. Patsy was a Sunday School Teacher, VBS Director, Acteen Leader and WMU Director. She also served at the Burnt Swamp Association on the council for WMU.

The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Galilee Baptist Church with Revs: Roger Adkins and Donald Bullard officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Ms. Patsy is survived by two children: Mrs. Donna Lynn Hunt Locklear (Timothy) and Mr. Patrick Barry Hunt (Tena); four grandchildren: Mr. Dustin Joel Locklear (Rhonda), Mrs. Hillary Dawn Locklear (Darylwood), Ms. Alysa Renee Hunt; Mr. Ian Callahan and Mr. Seth Gabriel Locklear and fiancé Kiersten; two great-grandsons: Mason Lovin and Seth Lovin. A special recognition to her Senior Ladies Sunday School Class and those friends that served along with her at Galilee Baptist Church. She also had many wonderful caregivers: Ms. Jean Locklear, Ms. Claire Jones, Ms. Marie Graham, Ms. Andoris Dial, Ms. Antonette “Toni” Locklear and Ms. Hailey Evington; father of her children: Mr. Roy Hunt, Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Galilee Baptist Church.
