Ms. Ann Hunt, 75, of 164 Randall Dr. Pembroke, NC was born February 8, 1949 and departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Douglas C. Hunt Sr. and Mrs. Muriel Chavis Hunt. She was also preceded in death by a son: Mr. James F. “Inky” Oxendine and two grandchildren: James Jr. and Olivia Ann Oxendine.
The graveside service 3 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Bear Swamp Baptist Church with Revs. James Lindbergh Chavis and Rev. Dr. Tim Chavis officiating.
She is survived by a son: Mr. Bryon Oxendine from Syracuse, NY; three sisters: Ms. Charlene Hunt Jacobs of Plainfield, NJ, Ms. Veronica Hunt of Syracuse, NY and Mrs. Carolena H. Oxendine of Lumberton, NC; two brothers: Mr. Edward Hunt of Lumber Bridge, NC and Mr. Douglas C. Hunt, Jr. of Pembroke, NC; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 15, 2024 and Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the home of Dr. Earlena C. Lowry 1979 St. Anna Road, Pembroke, NC 28372.
