Mrs. Susanna Dial

Mrs. Susanna Oxendine Dial, 85, of 189 Harley Drive, Maxton, was born June 7, 1932 and departed this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Lumberton Health and Rehabilitation to be with the Lord in a new home. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Joseph Oxendine and Mrs. Josephine Hunt Oxendine; husband: Mr. Harvey Dial; son: Mr. Charles Dial; and a daughter: Ms. Vivian Dial. The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018, at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Kelvin Locklear, Lindbergh Chavis and Jerry Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the White Hill Church Cemetery. Mrs. Dial is survived by three sons: Mr. Delton Dial, Mr. Larry Dial (Wilma) and Mr. Micheal Dial (Ruby); three daughters: Mrs. Lillie Locklear (R.L.), Mrs. Glenda Deese (Harold), and Ms. Phyllis Chavis; eighteen children; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018, at White Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
