Mrs. Nellie Faye Locklear

Mrs. Nellie Faye Locklear, 81, of 96 Exand Road, was born February 10, 1937 and died Monday, September 3, 2018, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. James Albert Locklear and her parents: Mr. Willie Junius & Mrs. Exand Jacobs. The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018, at First Apostolic Church of Pembroke with the Bishop Earl Chavis and Bro. Gary Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Preston Cemetery. Surviving are two sons: Mr. Albert Lynn Jacobs (Martha) and Mr. Jimmy Locklear (Barbara); two daughters: Mrs. Sheila Locklear (Adrian Escolana) and Ms. Joann Atkisson; one brother: Mr. Joe Jacobs; one sister: Ms. Kaffie Lowry; twelve grandchildren: Guanna McCormick, Christopher Jacobs, Chasta Locklear, Shequia Baxley, Jimmy Locklear Jr., Kimberly Locklear, Naomi Carter, Rachel Locklear, Melinda Hernandez, Jotana Page, Mallorey Oxendine, James Barton, 27 great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018 at First Apostolic Church of Pembroke.
