Mrs. Mary M. Locklear, 99, was born September 23, 1920 and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Sim & Mrs. Ellen Maynor; three sisters: Ms. Ruby Oxendine, Ms. Lester Locklear and Ms. Martha Maynor; four brothers: Mr. Charlie Maynor, Mr. Lawrence Maynor, Mr. Carson Maynor and Mr. Marvin Maynor; two sons: Mr. Eudene Locklear and Mr. Steve Locklear.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs: Tony Lee and Darrell Little officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anna Church Cemetery.
Left behind to cherish her memories are: two daughters: Mrs. Jean Chavis and Ms. Janie Cox both of Lumberton; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
