Mrs. Mary Katherine Lowery, 82, of 1352 St. Anna Road was born November 11, 1938 and entered to her heavenly home on January 1, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. James Kelly Oxendine and Ms. Bessie Dunn Oxendine; one daughter: Ms. Shelia Ann Lowry; one granddaughter: Nina Lashelle Deese; two brothers: Mr. James H. Oxendine and Mr. Andy Oxendine; one sister: Ms. Patricia Strickland.
The graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at St. Anna Baptist Church Cemetery with Revs: Lindbergh Chavis and Tony Miller officiating.
Mrs. Lowery is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Madeline Locklear (Deugie) and Stephanie Jacobs (Troy) all of Pembroke; one son: Mr. David Ray Lowery (Elizabeth) of Lumberton; three grandchildren: Christopher Ray Deese, Johnathon Deugie Deese and Brooklyn Hazlee Oxendine; three great-grandchildren: Cheyenne Nicole Jacobs, Alexia Danielle Deese and Christopher Ray Deese Jr.; two brothers: Mr. Wesley Oxendine and Mr. Larry Oxendine of Pembroke; one sister: Mrs. Beulah Oxendine (Anthony) one sister-in-law: Mrs. Judy Ann Oxendine of Pembroke; and a host of family and friends.
