Mrs. Magdalene Oxendine Sellers

Mrs. Magdalene Oxendine Sellers, 82, of Matthews, NC, was born on July 5, 1936 in Pembroke, NC and departed this life on Saturday, September 15, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. James and Mrs. Idell (Locklear) Oxendine; and brothers: Mr. Bradford Carl and Mr. James H. Junior. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 916 Union Chapel Road, Pembroke, NC. Burial will follow in the Oxendine Family Cemetery. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years: Mr. Lee Roy Sellers; son: Mr. Jeffery Kent Sellers (Margo); three daughters: Ms. Mary Ann Smith, Ms. Sue Tarlton(Henry), Mrs. Teresa Lynn Ward (Jeff); 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grand; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be remembered by her faith and love for her family The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
