Mrs. Ilene Locklear, 62, of 5959 US Hwy 74 West Rowland, was born March 17, 1959 in Robeson County and passed on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe and Annie Lee Jones; two brothers: Mr. Roscoe Jones, Sr. and Mr. Samuel Jones; a son: Mr. Matthew Jones and three great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Revs: James Kelvin Locklear and Adrian Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Locklear is survived by her husband: Mr. Donald Locklear of the home; daughter: Ms. Donna Locklear; granddaughter: Courtney Locklear; grandson: Ethan Goins all of Rowland; one brother: Mr. Timothy Jones of Rowland; sister: Mrs. Elene Jones (Lonzo) of Rowland; seven nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
