In loving memory of Mrs. Christine Locklear Ransom, 74, of B and C Lane, Maxton was born June 17, 1947 and departed this life on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Oscar and Mrs. Lillie Mae Locklear; three sisters; three brothers and a special niece: Sharon Rose Locklear.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the White Hill Freewill Cemetery.
Mrs. Ransom is survived by her husband: Mr. Junior Ransom; two sons: Mr. Gary Ransom and Mr. Junior Ray Ransom; three daughters: Ms. Lula Ransom, Ms. Bonnie Ransom and Ms. Debra Ransom; one brother: Mr. Belton Locklear; two sisters: Ms. Mary M. Haggans and Ms. Mary Ellen Eddings; twelve grandchildren: Quinn Arlinda, Christy, Jimmy. Jacob, Kimberly, Austin, Jake, Ethan, Courtney, Jolena and Halena; nine great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
