Mrs. Carolyn Sanderson, 69, of 197 Winslow Drive, was born on January 16, 1950 and departed this life on December 4, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. James Gaston Chavis and Mrs. Rosie Lee Lowery.
The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Branch Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Douglas Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her husband: Mr. Glenn Sanderson; one brother: Mr. Jack Chavis of Pembroke; one sister: Ms. Rita of Pembroke; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
