Mr. Willis Locklear

Mr. Willis Locklear, 46, of 136 Jefferson Road, was born November 23, 1971 and departed this life on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Scotland Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Willie O. Locklear; a brother: Mr. Levance Locklear; a very special friend: Ms. Linda C. Oxendine; a step-son: Mr. Gary Lynn Oxendine; his paternal grandparents: Mr. Willie B. & Mrs. Mary F. Locklear; his maternal grandparents: Mr. Ardell & Mrs. Bessie Locklear and a special nephew: Kenston Locklear. The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs: Fredrick Locklear, Edward Brooks and Philip Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the White Hill Church Cemetery. Surviving are his mother: Mrs. Doris J. Locklear of the home; a son: Mr. Cody Britton Locklear of Pembroke; three brothers: Mr. Tryon Locklear, Mr. Ron Locklear and Mr. Wallace Locklear all of Maxton; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
