MR. STANLEY RAY DAVIS

Mr. Stanley Ray Davis of Rowland, NC was born on August 17, 1996, and departed this life on August 19, 2023 to his eternal resting place, completing his life’s journey of 27 years. Stanley was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents: Mr. Winford & Mrs. Ruth McMillian and Mr. Leander & Mrs. Mary Annah Davis; his maternal great grandparents: Mr. Charlie & Mrs. Sarah Locklear and his paternal grandfather: Mr. Stanley Davis, Sr.

The funeral service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Crossway Baptist Church with the Revs: Nathan Locklear, Chris Locklear and James Demery officiating.

Mr. Stanley Ray, affectionally known as “Henry” by his family, leaves to cherish his memories: his parents; Mr. Stanley, Jr. and Mrs. Natasha Davis; one sister, Ms. Hannah Davis(Dakota); three brothers: Mr. Jeremiah Davis, Mr. Jacob Davis, and Mr. Kelton Davis; a very special niece: Ava Clark who he absolutely adored; his paternal grandmother: Ms. Linda Ruth Davis; his maternal grandparents: Mr. Willie and Mrs. Nancy Hunt; his special pops: Mr. Mitchell Bullard, many aunts, uncles, cousins as well as a great host of additional relatives and friends.

Mr. Stanley Ray, “Henry,” enjoyed working with his hands and spent a great deal of time working with his Uncle Chris and his Papa Willie. He was always willing to do whatever the job consisted of and was eager to learn. He was a true momma’s boy and loved spending time with his family, especially his niece Ava. He will truly be missed but his memory will live on in our hearts.

The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Crossway Baptist Church/8941 Hasty Road, Laurinburg, NC.
