MR. MARK WAYNE POTTS

Mr. Mark Wayne Potts, 71, of Little River, SC, was born November 10, 1952 went home to be with Our Lord Jesus on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. Alvin Potts and sister Ms. Elizabeth Potts.

The graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Beulah Baptist Church with Revs: Roger Adkins and Thomas Oxendine officiating.

Mr. Mark Potts leaves to be cherished in memory by his wife: Mrs. Brenda Locklear Potts of Little River, SC; mother: Mrs. Annie Ruth Ward of Munford TN; daughters: Mrs. Holli Stobaugh of Springdale, AR, Mrs. Kimberly Crecelius of Springdale, AR; brother: Mr. Charles M Timbs of Munford, TN; grandson: Mathew Crecelius; granddaughters: Kennedy Stobaugh and Emily Crecelius of Springdale, AR; and a host of relatives and friends.

Mark was a hard-working honorable man, and he loved his family dearly.  He was not only a father but coach and caretaker as well. He loved the outdoors and all sports and love to fish by the light of the moon on the lake or go coon hunting with his uncle. Mark very adventurous; he and his wife had the opportunity to complete their bucket list together.  He was known for embellishing his stories as a tall tale teller. His coworkers called him “shoes” because he always wore a different pair. He excelled in his career at Tyson, ConAgra Foods & Perdue as the best accountant in the poultry Industry producing a computer program and becoming published. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Beulah Baptist Church.
