Mr. Larson Locklear

Mr. Larson Locklear, 74, of 2239 Cabinet Shop Road, was born April 19, 1943 and departed this life on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Catherine Brooks Locklear; his parents: Mr. Ardell & Mrs. Bessie Mae Locklear; a daughter: Ms. Connie Locklear; a brother: Mr. Sam Locklear and his grandparents: Mr. Lather & Mrs. Mattie Locklear and Mr. Floyd & Mrs. Pearl Locklear. The funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs: Dufrene Cummings, Fredrick Locklear and Edward Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the White Hill Church Cemetery. Surviving are two sons: Mr. Ronnie Locklear and Mr. Jerome Locklear; a daughter: Ms. Kathleen Locklear Jones; a brother: Mr. Landros Locklear; five sisters: Ms. Evelyn Brooks, Ms. Ruby Brooks, Ms. Pearl Oxendine, Ms. Doris Locklear and Ms. Sara Locklear; grandchildren: Danielle Locklear, Kala Locklear, Tray Locklear, Kristy Locklear, Sequoyah Rice, Shanya Locklear, Talisa Locklear and Dorean Brayboy; great-grandchildren: Dymun Rain, Danyla Star and Daisey Cole and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
