Mr. Herbert Lloyd

Mr. Herbert Hoover Lloyd, 89, of 7570 Hwy 711, Pembroke, was born November 27, 1928 and entered his heavenly home, Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. William Edward and Mrs. Zetta Mae Locklear Lloyd; his wife: Mrs. Halene Graham Lloyd; two brothers: Mr. Donald Lloyd and Mr. Tommie Lloyd and a grandson: Shane. The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at Deep Branch Baptist Church with the Revs: James Graham, Timmy Sampson and Bro. Harlie W. Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in the Lumbee Memorial Gardens. Surviving are a son: Mr. Daryl Avery Lloyd of the home; a daughter: Ms. Denise Lloyd Dial of Lumberton; a sister: Mrs. Willa Lloyd Burton(Gerald) of Bonner Springs, Kansas; six grandchildren: Amy, Latisha, Brooke, Shaun, Troy and Amber; thirteen great-grandchildren and a special great-grandchild: Brandon Dial and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Locklear & Son Funeral Home.
