Mr. Donald “Beaver” Hunt, 66, of Lumberton, NC was born August 2, 1957 and departed this life on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Boston and Mrs. Thelma Hunt; sisters: Ms. Lee Verchus Locklear and Ms. Alice Oxendine; brothers: Mr. Jovis Hunt, Mr. N.L. Hunt and Mr. Ronnie Hunt.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Deep Branch Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Timmie Sampson officiating.
Mr. Donald is survived by his daughter: Ms. Kelsey Marie Hunt; three grandchildren: Zaylon Hunt, Kamden Hill and Kalena Faulk; five sisters: Ms. Pamela Hunt, Ms. Janice Rogers, Ms. Bernice Oxendine, Ms. Erma Campbell and Ms. Juanita Graham; three brothers: Mr. Randy Hunt, Mr. Ray Hunt and Mr. Thomas Hunt; a niece and caregiver: Ms. Heather Lowery and a host of family and friends.
