Mr. David Micheal Locklear “Mitchell”, 74, of Maxton, NC was born September 05, 1949 and passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024 with his loving daughter by his side. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Will Fred and Dora B. Locklear.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Locklear was a dedicated member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church where he served faithfully.
Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memory a very special daughter: Ms. Dora Lynn Locklear of Maxton, NC.
Mr. Locklear is also survived by an extended family, of two daughters: Mrs. Linda Nicole Oxendine of Maxton, NC and Mrs. Bobbie Jean Demery (Rev. James) of Pembroke, NC; one son: Mr. Stanley Davis Jr. (Natasha) of Rowland, NC. Mr. Locklear also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memories.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 2534 Cabinet Shop Road, Maxton, NC 28364
